Jordan Jacobson Donates New Shooting Gun to The Basketball Warehouse

Jordan Jacobson is a young man who came to The Basketball Warehousewithout a substantial basketball background but with an intense desire to learn and be the best he can be. His skills improved quickly with Coach Allen’s training, and he credits the shooting gun as a key factor in his rapid development. AJ Williams, Coach Allen’s son, mentored him in the summer months, during which he became the youngest player to make the 1500 Club, a club in which you must make 1500 3-point baskets per week.

Jordan, a 7th grader at Shorecrest Preparatory School and Middle Division basketball team member, has been a regular fixture at The Basketball Warehouse since it opened. He attended the summer basketball camps, led by Pinellas Park High School Coach Jon Cabino and AJ Williams, and felt strongly about The Basketball Warehousemission to teach life skills through basketball and academic mentoring. Skills such as, discipline, perseverance, respect, and teamwork, as well as how these principles can be applied in everyday life to help one make healthy life choices.

When Jordan’s parents, Marc and Lisa Jacobson, challenged him to give back to the community as part of his training for his Bar Mitzvah, his first choice was to help The Basketball Warehouse. After some discussion, Jordan felt the biggest need for the Warehouse was a new shooting gun which he purchased and donated.

Directors Allen Williams and Daryl Blume were impressed by Jordan’s generosity, saying “What an extraordinary donation, especially by someone of such a young age. Jordan epitomizes the principles and character that we strive to instill in our student-athletes at The Basketball Warehouse. We are both grateful that he felt impacted by the work that we are doing and grateful that he is part of our Warehouse family.”

The new 8000 Shooting Gun has features not seen anywhere. It allows the user to remotely change the settings and is capable of digitally tracking shots and locations. We are confident this piece of equipment and the proper shooting coach will transform your game. Call Coach Allen, (727) 235-4726, for both individual and group training on the new 8000 Shooting Gun.
